What is the best way to receive high quality free products?

For those of you who haven’t yet picked up the Easy Bakeware gift below because it requires a sign up for a 7 day trial, for instance, I’m here to convince you that it really can be a great idea! Lots of people are scared off from doing deals because of the “hurdle” of cancelling free trial programs but I’m here to tell you that it really isn’t hard!

This week alone I’ve called four companies to cancel things - and although it surely isn’t my favorite activity in the world it is very fast (90% of the time it is incredibly easy and takes 5 minutes), and it almost always ensures that I get some amazing freebie or something at a crazy low cost.

The top three things to remember about canceling free trials:

1. Keep a credit card only for your deals. This makes it easier than ever to know if you were mischarged for something. If one of your credit cards is always the one you use for trial offers, there’s not a chance you’ll let a charge slip by, because you know you’ll have to watch that statement!

2. Keep track of when to cancel. Write down exactly when to cancel, and then write down as many phone numbers or email addresses you see to do so.

3. Use a separate email address for signing up for trial offers to avoid the spam that *will* come.
