Guide: Earn $1000 From Nothing In 30 Days Or Less!

You have got $0 to start with, and have to make your first $1,000 in 30 days or less.

This post is a complete guide to complete the challenge stated above. I guarantee you, if you work hard and have commitment this is very much possible. You do not need to spend six hours in a day, but you must put in your best.

Since you have nothing to start off with, and I am assuming that you are completely new to the world of earning online, I will be covering a bit of the basics.

Firstly, you need to sign up with two forums. I would recommend, Digital Point and Webmaster Peers. Both forums are a great place to find freelancing jobs, and Webmaster Peers is a great storehouse of knowledge.

The first three to four days, I feel will be the most testing. You will have to work as a freelancer. There are several methods, but as you need to get $1,000, you have to avoid work like copy and pasting which pays very badly.

I have done my research thoroughly and these are your options:

Content Writing

There are always webmasters and bloggers out there that need fresh, unique content for their blog or website. Writing for these webmasters is probably the easiest way of making money through freelance work, as all you need is to write down some words and form a unique article. Obviously the higher quality article you form, the more you get paid, but there are webmasters out there willing to pay for very low quality articles, so it’s definitely worth a try.

Forum Posting

Another great way of making money by writing is forum posting. Forum posting is fairly self explanatory - you go and post on someone’s forum. People will pay you to do this as it makes their forum look more active, which will in turn make the forum look more appealing to new members who will sign up and post for free. It will also get them ranked in search engines. Prices for forum posters are generally quite low (around $0.10-$0.20 per post), but it really depends on the webmaster and what sort of posts they are looking for.

Designing

If you have a talent as a designer, this is definitely for you. It could involve designing logos or websites, depending on your talent. If you are a designer, there are loads of ways to get work as there are loads of designing contests around the web as well as lots of jobs that you can get directly from different people. The main thing for designers is to have a good portfolio that will really show off your best work. This will bring in new customers and also lets people see what they’ll be getting from using your services.

I am sure within three to four days; you will have collected around $100 easily using the methods I have mentioned above.

Next you need to buy two to three niche domains. (Picking the right niche is very important, pick a niche that has a demand and is not to competitive) Then you should install a blogging platform with a decent design, I highly recommend Word Press. (You can go in for Elegant Themes if you wish to use premium themes; you have some spare money so you can go in for it)

The next two to three days, depending on your speed, you should write loads and loads of content on these blogs.

Then you go to the Site Point marketplace and list these blogs under startup websites. If you have three blogs it will cost you $30 totally.

I am assuming that you have put in your best into these sites; the minimum average of these three blogs should be $150 each. That makes it totally $450.

*As of now if you have not spent the earlier $100 completely you are above $450*

You should have completed all of this, way under two weeks.

Your next step is repeating the part of setting up the niche blog. This time you go in for seven or eight blogs.
This is important, since you have money with you, you do not need to write the articles yourself, you can hire a writer to write unique articles for your at a cheap rate.Build on these blogs. Give them your best shot. You can invest the $450 (your wish) in premium themes, and maybe a bit of promotion.

Again you sell them at Site Point under startup websites. I am taking the lowest average possible, of $150 per blog. (I am sure you may get more than that)

That means there’s a profit of $150 per blog (at a guess).
8 blogs x $150 = $1200.

There you go! You’ve made $1200 under a month. If you are new, you may take just about a month. But I assure you, this target is very achievable.

One piece of advice, do not waste time. I cannot stress on the importance of how important it is to do things. Just DO it!

You can thank Teenius, for a bit of the outline of this post.

Case Study:

I started off this way too; I wanted to check if this strategy works.

I immediately started off with three blogs; I used Elegant Themes on all of them.

A Forex Blog: I loaded this blog with ten articles on forex trading and strategies. I did a little blog commenting (blog commenting is when you leave a comment on another blog, leaving your blog as the link back) to promote this blog. In no time I had visitors coming in and comments too started coming in. Also, since I did have a few posts on forums, it helped putting the blog in my signature links.

A Weight Loss Blog: I write fifteen articles for this blog. I used the same strategy of promotion as I mentioned for the forex blog. This blog too was ding well.

An Internet Marketing Blog: I wrote twelve blog posts on this one. Here instead of doing a lot of promotion by commenting on other blogs, I decided to contact a blogger of the same niche and I asked him if I could write a guest post on his blog. (A guest post is a post you write, but is not published on your blog. You publish it on a big and well known blog of your niche) This way I got many comments and visits from guest posting.

Please note that all the articles I wrote were- over five hundred words, 100% unique and well researched.

I was successful in getting an average of 180$ per blog.

So, yes, it is very much possible for you too to do the same in a short time.

I took some time to write this post, and have done my research properly. I made sure to keep everything realistic.

Sure, these are ways to make money but a lot of potential is seen when you hire freelancers.

For ex: People pay 5-10$ for a article, but in turn they make 2x times the money easily. So there is a bigger potential in MAKING PEOPLE WORK FOR YOU instead of WORKING FOR PEOPLE..

Agreed, but in the beginning when you have nothing to start with (that’s what this post targets) you just can’t outsource.

          Thanks for commenting!

An ebook would be great, but I think there are already loads of books out there about this, so you’d have to add a new twist to it to really making it appealing.

Cool. I’ve read many “How to Make $1000 online from nothing in 30 Days or Less” articles, but this one is simply awesome. Especially the case study. I mean we’ve read so many people talking about how to make money, but very few ever tell how they made money. :)

Farhad that’s a very nice post and true.
Even I started my career as freelancing from these forum. That was for fun but later on I saw the good money lying behind it.
That’s how I landed into the world of blogging.

Along with all the methods you have described on how peope can make money from forum, there is one more way ..if you are very active on forums you can also sell your signatures. :)

Good writeup man! keep it up.
Meanwhile do take care of your permalink.

I had actually included sig links in this.
The rate is $1 per 100 posts. And 100 posts will take time. Rather you spend that time on blogging. And honestly when our target is 1000$, $1 is very significant.
Your suggestion is good on the long run :)

      Thanks for the comment.

In this article i would think the most difficult part would be finding niche. What are you suggestions on that.

Also I checked Sitepoint and there are tons of websites added long time back that has no bids on them. How would you recommend getting over it?

    Cheers,
    Sid

-Finding the niche is definitely the most important. You have to do your research. I will be releasing an ebook shortly to pick the right niche, stay tuned!

-You need unique content and a good sales copy- It will work out.

    Hello Farrhad!

Great article! What I like best about it is the fact that it challenges us! Many people may first read this article and recoil in horror thinking “No Way!” but that would only be a reflection of their own self-limiting thoughts! I love the closing phrase “One piece of advice, do not waste time. I cannot stress on the importance of how important it is to do things. Just DO it!” You couldn’t have given any better advice than this.

Thank you for the challenge and also for the ideas!

Sounds good for newbies. Some people decided to do PPC when they are just starting out and then failed to reach the $500 benchmark and just quit. What pity.

I have a friend who made over $3,000 a month just from content writing.

    • Simon | Teenius Says:

I suppose that if you do it full time, that’s $100 per day. If you charge $0.20 per word (as a lot of pro content writers do), that’s 500 words per day which isn’t that much when you think about it! ;)

Cool article, it’s good to see someone backing up their advice with an actual case study of their own experience. I am surprised you were able to make $180 on average for each blog, that’s more than I would have expected. Quick question, how long are the posts you create for each of the blogs you sell? You wrote 10 - 15 posts on each blog but what was the average word count?
