I’m listening to Dave Ramsey on my ipod as I type, and there are few radio shows more inspiring money-wise than Dave’s. He’s smart, sassy, and to the point. Listening to others call in is actually extremely valuable as well, and I learn so much from the concerns that other callers have.
A good gem from today’s show regarding three simple things to remember when you get a mortgage:
- Your monthly mortgage payment should represent no more than 25% of your take-home pay
- Your mortgage should be fixed-rate
- Your mortgage should be a 15 year one
